Fellowship and
Service are essential parts of our Christian mission as well as
invaluable in the formation and development of our youth.
Saint Peter’s Youth
Group meets on Sundays from 12:00 to 2:00 in the SPYG Room. We hang out
with friends, play games, discuss challenging topics, and eat pizza. Our
discussions are geared toward expanding our faiths and our perspectives
and understanding others. Through our activities, conversations, and
fellowship we learn respect for ourselves, each other and the wider
community. Once a month we take a break from the routine for a fun
fellowship trip, such as rock climbing, visiting the City Museum, movie
viewing, swimming, ecumenical youth outings, and much more!
SPYG takes part in a
variety of service projects, both local as well as going on a weeklong
trip during the summer to another state and sometimes even another
country! Information concerning the trip will become available in March.
“Stock sales” to raise funds for the trip will begin in March as well.
If you are
interested in participating or if you have any questions, please contact
Muriel Morley Jahn,
youth@StPetersEpiscopal.org or just come to Youth Group! You can
also call (314) 993-2306 ext. 104.
